Sit Right Down!

About two weeks ago our church hosted this awesome "summer vacation bible school" event for kids 5 years old through 5th grade - it's called Wize 'n Up. Think Sunday school meets Double Dare (you know...from the 1980's show on Nickelodeon) and you have a good picture of what this event is all about. During June and July we had a highlights video from the 2007 event on our church Web site to promote it. Gretchen and Ingrid loved to watch this video over and over again.

When I drove into the driveway tonight after work, I came across my girls reenacting a scene from the video. There's a scene where they dip a kid's bottom into a bucket of water and the kid goes running and squealing back to their team at the other end of the field. See below for a demonstration:

Needless to say, we ended up moving our dinner outside for a summer picnic since our dining room chairs are upholstered. I guess they felt like taking their evening bath into their own hands for a change!
